Energy Transfer's valuation is also quite attractive. 10 stocks we like better than Energy Transfer › Unitholders of Energy Transfer LP (NYSE: ET) couldn't be blamed for breathing a sigh of relief that 2025 has drawn to a close. The midstream energy leader's unit price has declined by a double-digit percentage this year, while the S&P 500 (SNPINDEX: ^GSPC) has delivered a third consecutive year of double-digit returns. But is Energy Transfer stock a buy now? I think the answer is a resounding "yes" for three primary reasons. Investors haven't experienced the full brunt of Energy Transfer's sell-off in 2025.
