The Meta AI App is set to be released in the latter quarter of 2025, with the company hoping it will become a leader in the field by the end of the year. Entergy plans to build seven new natural-gas power plants to support Meta's expanded data center in Richland Parish. The utility and Meta will cover all costs, with no financial burden passed on to other Entergy customers. The new plants will generate 5,200 megawatts of power, a significant increase to Entergy's current capacity.
