Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi because of data center customer agreements in those states. The savings are projected over the next 20 years and come after regulatory approval of the state's public service commissions. Louisiana customers are expected to save around $800 million. Entergy has been able to serve large projects such as data centers while maintaining power reliability for all its customers; however, customers in Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi have an advantage over other states when it comes to bill spikes and reliability issues, thanks to state oversight of a regulated electric utility, the company said. “Some states have deregulated and not maintained authority over resource adequacy.
