Evertec on Wednesday said its board approved an increase to its buyback authorization to $220 million and extended the program to the end of 2025. Advertisement The San Juan, Puerto Rico, company, which had nearly 65.5 million shares outstanding as of Feb. 19 and sports a market capitalization topping $2.4 billion, said the repurchase program previously had about $137 million remaining.
