PLANO, Texas, Feb. 10, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- European Wax Center, Inc. (NASDAQ: EWCZ) (the “Company” or “European Wax Center”), a leading franchisor and operator of out-of-home waxing services in the United States, today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to be taken private by General Atlantic, a leading global investor, in an all-cash transaction with an implied equity value of approximately $330 million. General Atlantic has been a strategic partner to the Company since its initial investment in 2018 and is currently the beneficial owner of approximately 42% of the Company’s outstanding shares of the Company’s common stock. Under the terms of the agreement, General Atlantic will acquire 100% of the outstanding shares of class A common stock that it does not already own.
