Eight locales in the Old Dominion made a new GOBankingRates top 25 list of the most affordable mountain towns for retirees . Tennessee and North Carolina each placed three cities on the list. Other states represented include Alabama, Arkansas, California, Georgia, New Hampshire, New York, Montana and Utah.
