NEW YORK, March 23, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Eyenovia, Inc. (NASDAQ: EYEN), a clinical stage ophthalmic biopharmaceutical company developing a pipeline of microdose therapeutics utilizing its patented piezo-print technology, today announced that it has received subscriptions for a private placement in the amount of approximately $6.0 million of units at a price to the public of $2.21425 per unit. The offering is expected to close on or about March 24, 2020, subject to customary closing conditions. Each unit consists of (i) one share of common stock, par value $0.0001 per share, (ii) a one-year warrant to purchase 0.5 of a share of common stock, and (iii) a five-year warrant to purchase 0.75 of a share of common stock. The proceeds of the offering are expected to be used, together with other available funds, for the MicroLine and MicroPine clinical studies, to advance MicroStat’s new drug application, and for working capital and general corporate purposes.
