that could see Geely build vehicles inside Ford's European factories, according to a Reuters report citing people familiar with the discussions. The talks have been underway for months and appear most advanced around Europe, with Ford's Valencia plant in Spain emerging as a likely option. For Geely, producing cars locally would offer a big advantage, helping it avoid European Union tariffs on electric vehicles made in China while still expanding its footprint in the region.
