fears, and a weaker electric vehicle business all top of mind for investors. Analysts expect GM to post first quarter revenue of $43.68 billion, down slightly from the $44 billion reported a year ago. GM is expected to report Q1 adjusted earnings per share of $2.62. GM CEO Mary Barra said the company has “proactively managed” its net tariff exposure, projecting full-year gross tariff costs of roughly $3 billion-$4 billion in 2026, around the $3.1 billion it reported last year. GM's tariff bill is tied to imports from Mexico, Canada, and South Korea, though MSRP offsets helped GM reduce its tariff hit. GM projects a Q1 tariff hit of $750 million to $1 billion. In its fourth quarter report in January, GM laid out the following targets for the full year: Adjusted EBIT of $13 billion-$15 billion Adjusted automotive free cash flow of $9 billion-$11 billion Adjusted earnings per share of $11-$13 Analysts expect a slight uptick in those projections in GM's Q1 report.
