Ford reported April 29 that its revenue rose 6% to $43.3 billion compared with $40.7 billion in the first quarter a year ago despite lower new vehicle sales in the U.S. It reported its adjusted earnings before interest and taxes was $3.5 billion compared with $1 billion a year ago. Its net income for the quarter was $2.5 billion compared with $471 million in the year-ago quarter. The blue Ford oval logo is displayed on the new Ford World Headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan, U.S. Nov. 16, 2025. The Dearborn automaker's increase in net income and adjusted-EBIT is due to a $1.3 billion one-time tariff benefit as well as strong product mix and net pricing, and growth in software and physical services, said CFO Sherry House.
