receiving profit-sharing checks of up to $6,780 compared with $10,208 for 2024 results. Ford spokeswoman Jessica Enoch said 56,300 active hourly employees and another 1,490 employees who retired in 2025 may be eligible for a profit-sharing payment based on their compensated hours last year. She said workers should see checks of various sums payable on March 12. The amount is the lowest Ford has seen in recent years. UAW members at Ford received checks of up to $10,416 for 2023 and $9,176 for 2022. The amount is based on Ford's profits, which were impacted by a variety of factors this year. Ford said earlier in the year it estimated the cost of President Donald Trump's 25% tariffs on imported cars and car parts and 50% tariffs on imported aluminum and steel, which are used in Ford's U.S. assembly, would amount to about $2 billion in added net costs. Ford also experienced production disruptions to some of its most profitable vehicles — the F-Series pickups and some of its SUVs —
