Despite the recall, this truck generally receives above-average reliability scores from automotive experts. The reliability of new Ford vehicles has come into question in recent months after major recalls have impacted a wide range of popular models. Ford makes some of the best-selling pickup truck models on the American market like the F-150. The question is, should consumers second-guess their potential new Ford vehicle purchases because of recent recalls? The Blue Oval is recalling over 140,000 vehicles according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
