on Monday finished higher as nations worldwide, including the U.S., moved tentatively toward reopening and investors prepped for earnings reports from American heavyweights.The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up for a fourth day. It ended trading up 358 points, or 1.51%, to 24,133, the S&P 500 gained 1.47% and the Nasdaq rose 1.11%.Walt Disney(MMMGet ReportJPM were higher despite another tumble for crude oil prices. West Texas Intermediate crude oil for June delivery settled down 23% to $13.10 a barrel as crude inventories have risen. The coronavirus pandemic has led demand for oil to evaporate.Asian stocks had finished higher after the Bank of Japan boosted stimulus measures by pledging to buy more bonds. Central banks in the U.S. and Europe will meet this week.The Federal Reserve will gather Tuesday and Wednesday, and with interest rates near zero the U.S. central bank is unlikely to take any policy actions.
