Acton resident Mike Cotter worked in the restaurant business for 25 years until he was laid off from his job on March 16, in the aftermath of Gov. Charlie Baker’s order to close all dine-in restaurants and bars in response to the coronavirus pandemic.The father of two young daughters told Wicked Local he was worried about his family’s financial stability following his layoff from Orleans Restaurant in Somerville’s Davis Square.“Everybody (on the restaurant staff) filed for unemployment and we were able to get it, but in my business it’s probably less than half of what I normally make,” he said.Once home, Cotter also wondered what he was going to do with his newfound free time after being used to working 65 hours a week.“Being in the restaurant business, I’m always moving and I’m always busy,” he said.He started talking to friends who said they were trying to order groceries from Peapod and Roche Bros. and delivery slots were pushed out at least a week.“It was March 18 and they were sa
