Facebook Loses In Court Over Privacy Emails, As Zuckerberg Votes To Keep Full Control Getty Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg survived a shareholder vote at the company's annual general meeting this week, with some activist investors arguing that too much power remains in his hands to effectively manage a company that has generated negative governance and management headlines for more than a year. It was a nice safe vote for Zuckerberg, though, given he is both CEO and Chairman and controls about 60% of the voting power - unless he voted against himself, there was no way to lose. A day later, though, and Cambridge Analytica came back to haunt the company. A court in Delaware sided with Facebook shareholders who are suing the company for access to internal information that might show wrongdoing relating to the various privacy issues that have plagued the company.
