An already rich valuation, coupled with last quarter's credit-driven earnings miss, has been a contributing factor. Credit quality doesn't concern me much. Delinquencies have declined, and First Financial's underwriting record is excellent. The valuation remains an issue, however, with shares still trading for around 3x tangible book value.
