FMC more than doubles its dividend, sets new $1 billion stock buyback program Shares of FMC Corp. FMC, -0.37% were indicated up over 1% in premarket trade Monday, after the producer of crop protection products said it will more than double its dividend and announced a new $1 billion share repurchase program. The company said it will raise its quarterly dividend to 40 cents a share from 16.5 cents a share, with the new dividend payable on Jan. 17 to shareholders or record on Dec. 28. FMC said the new buyback program is separate from its previous $200 million program, which is expected to be completed this week. The new program is expected to be executed in a "systematic, recurring fashion" through mid-2020. "FMC is entering a phase of higher cash generation and lower capital intensity," the company said in a statement.
