The gold royalty and streaming company says it will now pay a quarterly dividend of 44 cents US, up from 38 cents US. The company also announced that chair David Harquail will become chair emeritus, effective as of its May 12 annual meeting. The company says he will be replaced as chair by Tom Albanese, who is currently Franco-Nevada's lead independent director. Before becoming chair in 2020, Harquail was Franco-Nevada's chief executive for more than 13 years. Albanese is a former chief executive of Rio Tinto.
