The investigation stems from concerns about the affordability of watching games for consumers now that the NFL is offered across various broadcast, cable TV and streaming platforms. The league called its media distribution the “most fan and broadcaster-friendly” across the ecosystem since a majority of games are offered on over-the-air local broadcast networks.
