JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind., Oct. 29, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- First Savings Financial Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: FSFG - news) (the "Company"), the holding company for First Savings Bank (the "Bank"), today reported net income of $23.2 million, or $3.32 per diluted share, for the year ended September 30, 2025, compared to net income of $13.6 million, or $1.98 per diluted share, for the year ended September 30, 2024. Excluding expenses related to the announced and pending merger with First Merchants Corporation, the Company reported net income of $23.8 million (non-GAAP measure)(1) and net income per diluted share of $3.41. (non-GAAP measure)(1) for the year ended September 30, 2025. Excluding all nonrecurring items, the Company reported net income of $22.7 million (non-GAAP measure)(1) and net income per diluted share of $3.25 (non-GAAP measure)(1) for the year ended September 30, 2025 compared to $11.7 million (non-GAAP measure)(1), or $1.70 per diluted share (non-GAAP measure)(1) for the year
