Owners are advised to park their vehicles outside and keep fuel levels below 50%. Subaru of America, Inc. has recalled about 69,153 because when the fuel tank is near capacity, an increase in temperature may cause the fuel to expand and spill out on the fuel cap, which presents an increased fire risk, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) recall report. Subaru estimates that the recall affects 100% of the models mentioned. As of Feb. 23, the company was aware of 33 technical reports related to the recall, but no fires or injuries, the NHTSA report states. Here's what to know about the recent Subaru recall.
