Six Flags Entertainment Corp. announced on Thursday, March 5, that it is selling seven amusement parks, including Michigan's Adventure near Muskegon, to EPR Properties and Enchanted Parks for $342 million, the company said. The seven parks include more than 1,600 acres and 418 attractions across five states and Canada, and draw approximately 4.5 million visitors each year. EPR Properties said it will partner with Enchanted Parks to operate the six U.S. parks, and La Ronde Operations Inc. for La Ronde to "ensure a smooth and seamless transition." "This strategic acquisition represents a compelling opportunity to expand our attractions portfolio with high-quality experiential real estate assets in established regional markets," said Gregory K.
