Are These Changes a Net Win or Loss for Cardholders? Bottom Line The U.S. Bank Altitude® Connect Visa Signature® Card is one of the few travel credit cards that hits the sweet spot of charging a moderate annual fee while offering benefits typically reserved for premium cards, like lounge access and a TSA PreCheck® or Global Entry fee credit. U.S. Bank announced a number of changes for the card that will become effective September 9, 2024. Most notably, U.S. Bank is dropping the card's annual fee while keeping those headliner benefits mentioned above. However, it's simultaneously removing or adding limitations to a number of the card's other perks and redemption options. Whether you feel these changes take the Altitude Connect to higher or lower heights depends on how you use it. Find the best travel credit card for your travel needs. Quite a bit.
