The fund's discount has widened to over 40%, making it the fund with the third-deepest discount. BXSY has respectable past returns, even actually beating out the S&P 500 Index in total returns since our last update despite a widening discount. On January 2, 2024 the Fund changed its name to Bexil Investment Trust from Dividend and Income Fund, its stock symbol to BXSY from DNIF, and its net asset value symbol to XBXIX from XDNIX.
