GASS delivered good 2023 results, including robust operating and FCF growth and elevated profit margins. GASS stock trades at a massive discount to PNAV and compared to its peers. The company is not an income play but a growth speculative idea. Note: I previously covered StealthGas ( NASDAQ: GASS ). In my previous article, I discussed the small gas carriers' market, the GASS fleet and its prudent capital structure, and the company's valuation. Today, I will review the LPG market and GASS 2023 figures and update the company's valuation. LPG market preview From a distance, the LPG carriers market seems over-saturated, considering the composite order book of 23%. However, we must look closer. The VLGCs (Very Large Gas carriers) have a higher order book (30%) than the number of ships older than 20Y (14%). In other words, the supply side is not in the investor's favor.
