PHILADELPHIA, June 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Aberdeen Greater China Fund, Inc. (the "Fund") (NYSE: GCH) held its Annual Meeting of Stockholders (the "Meeting") on June 21, 2017. At the Meeting, stockholders of the Fund voted to elect two Class II Directors to the Board of Directors to hold office until the 2020 Annual Meeting of Stockholders, or thereafter until their successors are elected and qualified. As of the record date, April 28, 2017, there were 8,816,794 outstanding shares of the Fund. 81.687% of outstanding shares were present at the meeting in person or by proxy, representing a quorum.The description of the proposal and number of shares voted at the Meeting are as follows:To elect two Class II Directors to the Board of Directors:Votes ForVotes AgainstAbstainClass IIC.
