(“we,” “our,” the “Company” or “GECC”) (NASDAQ: GECC), a business development company, today announced its financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2024. Fourth Quarter and Other Recent Highlights In December 2024, the GECC raised $13.2 million of equity at Net Asset Value from Summit Grove Partners, LLC (“SGP”), supported by a $3.3 million investment by Great Elm Group, Inc. (“GEG”) in SGP.Net investment income (“NII”) for the quarter ended December 31, 2024 was $2.1 million, or $0.20 per share, as compared to $4.1 million, or $0.39 per share, for the quarter ended September 30, 2024.
