The PDUFA target date for GERN's imetelstat NDA is June 16, 2024. An interim analysis in GERN's IMpactMF study in myelofibrosis isn't expected until H1'25. Geron Corporation's ( NASDAQ: GERN ) stock rallied in March , when the FDA's advisory committee voted 12-2 in favor of imetelstat's clinical benefit/risk profile in lower-risk myelodysplastic syndromes (LR-MDS). I rated GERN a buy in September 2023, when I last wrote about the name because I believed the company's New Drug Application (NDA) for imetelstat for LR-MDS would be approved. I also noted GERN's IMproveMF trial in myelofibrosis as a potential near-term catalyst. Now with an advisory committee making approval an expectation, there is room to fall, further, the IMproveMF trial seems to be taking some time to produce a result. I rate GERN a hold now, but I look forward to considering a buy rating again, following potential approval of the company's NDA and initial launch numbers. GERN has a PDUFA in June On March 14,
