NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Griffon Corporation (NYSE: GFF) (“Griffon”) today announced the pricing of $850 million aggregate principal amount of its senior notes due 2028 (the “Notes”) in an unregistered offering through a private placement. The amount offered represents an increase of $50 million from the previously announced offering size of $800 million. The Notes will pay interest semi-annually at a rate of 5.75% per annum. The Notes will be senior unsecured obligations of Griffon and will be guaranteed by certain of its domestic subsidiaries. The sale of the Notes is expected to be consummated on February 19, 2020, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.Griffon intends to use the proceeds from the offering, together with cash on hand, to (i) repurchase up to $850 million of its 5.25% senior notes due 2022 (the “2022 Notes”) in a tender offer, (ii) pay certain related fees and expenses, including any applicable tender premiums, redemption premiums and accr
