NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Griffon Corporation (“Griffon” or the “Company”) (NYSE:GFF) today reported results for the fiscal second quarter ended March 31, 2020.Consolidated revenue of $566.4 million increased 3% compared to the prior year quarter revenue of $549.6 million.Income from continuing operations totaled $0.9 million, or $0.02 per share, compared to $6.5 million, or $0.15 per share, in the prior year quarter. Current year results included loss from debt extinguishment of $6.7 million ($5.2 million, net of tax, or $0.12 per share), restructuring charges of $3.1 million ($3.0 million, net of tax, or $0.07 per share), acquisition costs of $3.0 million ($2.3 million, net of tax, or $0.05 per share), and discrete and certain other tax benefits, net, that affect comparability of approximately $1.4 million or $0.03 per share.
