Despite removing a previous post of President Donald Trump as Jesus (Trump said he thought it was him as a doctor), Trump posted another AI photo of him — this time being embraced by Jesus. The image posted to Truth Social on April 15 follows more friction between the president and Pope Leo . The pope has expressed opposition to the war in favor of peace negotiations and said in an April 10 social media post that those who are disciples of Christ are “never on the side of those who once wielded the sword and today drop bombs.” Meanwhile, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops issued a statement in support of Pope Leo remarks on the Iran war. “When Pope Leo XIV speaks as supreme pastor of the universal Church, he is not merely offering opinions on theology, he is preaching the Gospel and exercising his ministry as the Vicar of Christ.
