HOUSTON, April 14, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Gulf Island Fabrication, Inc. (“Gulf Island” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: GIFI) today announced that after careful consideration, in light of the public health impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and to prioritize the health and well-being of meeting participants, the Company will hold a virtual meeting in place of a physical in-person gathering for its 2020 annual meeting of shareholders (the “2020 annual meeting”). Shareholders will not be able to attend the 2020 annual meeting in person. The 2020 annual meeting will still be held on Friday, May 22, 2020 at 9:00 a.m., Central time as originally scheduled, but without a physical in-person meeting.
