so-called unqualified opinion from its auditor, KPMG, meaning the results were fairly presented. Investors welcomed the news, as Grifols ( GRFS ) was at the center of a recent short-seller attack from hedge fund Gotham City Research. In Early January, Gotham City cited concerns over its financial reporting, sending the stock tumbling. The Barcelona-based firm rejected the allegations, arguing that the Gotham City report was "false information" and "speculation." However, the company announced several leadership changes while Spain's market regulator, the CNMV, investigated the report. Grifols ( GRFS ) posted its Q4 results last week, though concerns remained as the company said it would receive an audit from KPMG by March 8.
