At 1458 GMT, Grifols shares fell 15% to EUR6.58, putting the stock on track for its lowest close since 2012. Shares in the Spanish pharmaceutical company lost 57% since the beginning of 2024. Advertisement In its report, Gotham said Grifols didn't address all the questions the short seller raised in a previous report published in February and questioned the company's commitment to transparency, integrity, and ethical conduct. Grifols didn't respond to a request for comment when contacted by Dow Jones Newswires. The company has previously rejected Gotham's claims and denied allegations of wrongful accounting. Research reports published by equity analysts since Gotham's report in February included new information that Grifols didn't disclose to the public at large, the short seller said.
