Eco friendly Getty California may roll right over Donald Trump’s attempt to reverse vehicle emission standards. It could even go as far as to ban the traditional combustion engine that runs on gasoline. It’s a response to Trump’s attempt to block California from going its own way mileage rules. What will be the impact on electric vehicles? California has been given a “waiver” and is permitted to set rules and regulations apart from those in the federal government. About 13 other states, meanwhile, are following California’s lead. And that means that carmakers are going ahead and designing more environmentally-friendly cars for all consumers.
