SummaryHestia/Permit Capital, owners of 4.9 million shares, have launched a proxy fight for two board seats. There is a shareholders vote, and to vote, shares must be called in.The key record date is April 20 and I calculate that at least 14 million shares could be called in over the next six trading days.On Friday, April 10, Michael Burry, disclosed that he upped his stake by north of 1 million shares and is now long 3.4 million shares.As of March 31, 2020, 56 million (out of 64.5 million total shares) were sold short.As my regular readers are well aware, I absolutely love (selectively) owning highly shorted stocks that are poised for massive short squeezes.
