Woodbury, NY, Feb. 13, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Greenrose Acquisition Corp. (Nasdaq: GNRSU) (the “Company”) announced today that it completed its initial public offering of 15,000,000 units at $10.00 per unit, resulting in gross proceeds of $150,000,000. Each unit consists of one share of common stock of the Company (“Common Stock”), and one redeemable warrant (“Warrant”) with each whole Warrant entitling the holder to purchase one share of Common Stock at a price of $11.50 per share. The units began trading on February 11, 2020 on Nasdaq under the symbol “GNRSU”. Once the securities comprising the units begin separate trading, the Common Stock and Warrants are expected to be traded on Nasdaq under the symbols “GNRS” and “GNRSW” respectively. The underwriters have been granted a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 2,250,000 units offered by the Company to cover over-allotments, if any.
