Networks ( PANW Financials ) in its biggest security services pact.The arrangement expands Palo Alto's work with Google Cloud to move its cybersecurity solutions and build AI-driven corporate capabilities. While neither business released financial details, a source told Reuters that the transaction is worth approaching $10 billion over many years.As corporate demand for automated threat detection rises, Palo Alto president BJ Jenkins said part of the investment would support new AI-based solutions. Google Cloud's chief sales officer, Matt Renner, said AI has increased security need.Due of generative AI risks, both organizations are focusing on AI-enabled cybersecurity. Google intends to purchase security startup Wiz for $32 billion, while Palo Alto unveiled its AI-powered product suite in October and bought Chronosphere for $3.35 billion last month.The agreement boosts Google Cloud's business security and AI infrastructure, analysts say, versus hyperscalers Amazon and Microsoft.
