The acquisition makes Taiwan Grab's ninth market and first outside Southeast Asia, bringing a compact $1.8 billion GMV business across 21 high-density cities and increasing Grab's deliveries addressable market by about 20% (adding over $40 billion to its ~ SEA base). Grab expects the deal to be accretive to its 2026 revenue guidance, targets a full platform migration by early 2027 (with front-loaded integration costs in 2026–27), and forecasts the Taiwan business will be profitable by late 2027 and contribute at least $60 million of incremental Adjusted EBITDA in 2028.
