RYE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Board of Trustees of The Gabelli Healthcare & WellnessRx Trust (NYSE:GRX) (the “Fund”) reaffirmed its quarterly distribution policy and declared a $0.14 per share cash distribution payable on September 23, 2019 to common shareholders of record on September 16, 2019.Additionally, the Fund will continue to repurchase its common shares, within the applicable regulatory parameters, when the shares are trading at a discount of 10% or more from the net asset value per share. Pursuant to this share repurchase plan, through August 21, 2019, the Fund has repurchased and retired 1,636,499 common shares in the open market at an average discount of approximately 14% from its NAV. The Fund has repurchased 306,086 common shares year to date.The Fund intends to pay a quarterly distribution of an amount determined each quarter by the Board of Trustees.
