weighing potential asset acquisitions that could be financed through an equity issuance. The company has called a shareholder meeting for January 27 to seek approval to pursue one or more acquisitions, according to a regulatory filing. While no specific target will be discussed, Vista said the meeting will also consider funding options, including the issuance of shares or American depositary shares. Vista has already expanded aggressively in Vaca Muerta. Just eight months ago, the company acquired shale acreage from Malaysia's Petronas in a transaction with an estimated net present value of about $1.3 billion, further consolidating its position in one of the world's most prolific shale basins. Deal activity across Vaca Muerta has accelerated under Argentina's libertarian President Javier Milei, whose administration is dismantling capital controls and market restrictions that previously deterred investment. Milei is also moving to extend Argentina's flagship investment incentives
