That's one reason Notre Dame football freshman quarterback Noah Grubbs now calls a Keough Hall dorm room home, and not his bedroom at his parents' place in Lake Mary, Florida. Grubbs made enough trips to Notre Dame during high school to understand what the numbers would say, and what the depth chart would look like, following the 2025 college football season. Whether back on the Notre Dame campus for a practice, a game or just to get even more acquainted with the place, Grubbs was in Northern Indiana as many as 15 times before becoming an official student in January as one of a handful of early enrollees. That's a lot of flights and a lot of nights. He wanted to be there, yes, but he also kind of had to be there.
