And then some consumers may consider the next rung of Whataburger, Five Guys Burger and Fries and Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Fries, which are in the top 50 largest restaurant chains in the country. And then there’s Habit Burger Grill. which went public in November 2014 (HABT: NASDAQ), and could easily get lost in the shuffle. But it’s thriving. In fact, Habit Burger Grill, according to the 2018 Technomic ranking of the top 500 U.S. restaurant chains, saw its revenue rise 23% last year. And in the fourth quarter of 2018, its company-operated sales spiked 2.4% compared to the fourth quarter in 2017.
