Some furniture stores offer low-priced programs, such as one IKEA launched over four years ago to offer customers deep discounts on its brand's products. IKEA introduced its Buy Back & Resell program in August 2021, which allows IKEA Family members to sell their gently used IKEA furniture back to the store for resale through the retail chain's As-Is section, at significantly reduced prices compared to new inventory. The Delft, Netherlands-based global furniture chain expanded the program in April 2023, launching its As-Is online service that allows customers to browse and reserve gently used products online to pick up and purchase in-store.
