The maker of consumer healthcare and home products said demand for its Beauty & Wellness and Home & Outdoor products slid. Helen of Troy didn't give a full-year outlook because of tariffs and "related business and economic uncertainty." Helen of Troy Ltd. ( HELE ) shares plunged 25% Thursday when the maker of consumer healthcare and home products posted weaker-than-expected results and guidance, which it blamed on slowing sales and the impact of new U.S. tariffs. The company behind brands such as OXO and PUR reported fiscal 2026 first-quarter adjusted earnings per share of $0.41, less than half of what analysts surveyed by Visible Alpha were looking for.
