HARTFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Hartford, a leader in disability and leave management, announced that Katie Dunnington has joined the company as head of absence management. Dunnington will report to the company’s Head of Group Benefits, Jonathan Bennett.“Katie is an accomplished leader with more than 20 years of experience in group insurance product, marketing, strategic planning and research,” said Bennett. “This is a critical new role that further demonstrates our commitment to the Group Benefits market, including the rapidly evolving leave management needs of our customers. She is well-positioned to lead our absence management business as we continue to invest in the product capabilities and services necessary to meet the growing expectations of our customers and capitalize on the rapid advances in technology.”Dunnington is responsible for the financial performance and strategic direction of the Group Benefits absence management product suite across all market segments.
