Police made dozens of arrests after an anti-ICE protest broke out inside a New York City hotel Tuesday evening, according to reports. New York City Police Department officers responded to the Hilton Garden Inn on Sixth Avenue in Tribeca at around 6 p.m. after protesters took over the lobby and obstructed pedestrian traffic. Sunrise Movement, an activist group, posted on X earlier Tuesday claiming the hotel was housing ICE officials. Videos posted on social media show protesters chanting inside the hotel and holding up signs, while refusing to leave the lobby. Protesters can be heard chanting, "No ICE, No KKK, No Fascist USA" and " ICE out of New York In a separate video, protesters chant, " Kristi Noem will hang," blatantly calling out the Department of Homeland Security secretary.
