MARTINSVILLE, Va., Jan. 02, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hooker Furnishings Corporation (NASDAQ-GS: HOFT) (“Hooker” or the “Company”), a global leader in home furnishings, today announced it has entered into a cooperation agreement (the “Agreement”) with Global Value Investment Corporation (“GVIC”) under which GVIC and the Company will work together in good faith to identify a mutually agreeable independent director with industry expertise within 45 days of signing the Agreement.
