Alongside the bond sale, the aerospace unit has also secured additional financing, including a 5 year $3 billion senior unsecured revolving credit facility and a 364 day $1 billion revolving credit line . The idea is to make sure the business has enough financial flexibility as it gets ready to operate independently. Honeywell said a portion of the proceeds from the note offering will go toward a cash distribution to the parent company ahead of the spin-off , while also covering transaction fees and other corporate expenses related to the separation.
