HPE delivered a strong 1Q 2026: $9.3Bn revenue, $0.65 non-GAAP EPS, $708Mn FCF, and raised both EPS and FCF guidance. Networking now represents nearly 30% of revenue and over half of non-GAAP operating profit, benefiting from higher margins and insulation from memory cost spikes. I reiterate a Buy rating on HPE, as secular AI data center demand and a favorable business mix drive sustainable growth and margin expansion. Investment Thesis In my last piece on Hewlett Packard ( HPE ), I said that HPE was becoming one of the major beneficiaries of the AI infrastructure boom. And I still believe that. The difference right now is that I believe the market has finally seen the hard evidence that HPE is compounding from the part of the AI stack that tends to earn better margins and have stickier customer relationships.
